Lago Budi, Boca Budi, and Puerto Saavedra
One of the great things about Araucanía Costa is the seafood. The flavors are some of the freshest in the world. Most of the seafood served around Lake Budi, is caught the same day by the fishermen in the community. Some of the restaurants even catch their own. Around Lake Budi and the Puerto Saavedra Coast, there is some of the best, cheapest, and freshest seafood we have found anywhere in Chile. The Boca Budi Restaurant is famious for both its view and the seafood empanadas.

They have a full bar, including a perfect wine to go with the view of the ocean. Their menu includes all kinds of meats, fish, and shellfish.

Beware, that  a long lunch at the Boca Budi could easily become a long weekend.

The Boca Budi Hotel and Resort Chile South America

This should be your first stop on arrival in Puerto Saavedra. This is also where you catch the bus to Boca Budi. It is a great place to enjoy a beer or a drink,and have some lunch, if you should make the highly recomended 2 km walk back into Puerto Saavedra or decide to stay in Puerto Saavedra for a while.
