The Bus station at Puerto Montt is a major transit point between nothern and southern Chile. To get to almost any other destination in Southern Chile you will have to pass through the bus station at Puerto Montt. From Puerto Montt you get a bus to Puerto Varras, Futaleufú , and the island of Chiloé, and many other places in the regions. Puerto Montt is also the place to catch trains to destinations North, and the boats to all points south in Chile.
