Weaving and Mapuche Textiles

In the Araucanía region of Southern Chile the Mapuche Textiles are very common and easy to find. It is not easy to distinguish those made by hand. Señora Rosa Martínez has years of experience and has become internationally famous for the quality and originality of her weaving. She frequently travels around the world presenting her art in Europe and the United States.

You can find her permanent collection at the office of AGREMAT. (The Temuco Small Businesses Association of Artist)
