Hotel Aitué Conference Center
The Hotel Aitué during the middle of the week is overwhelmingly occupied by business travelers, with a sprinkling of tourist. The conference facilities, along with the central location in downtown Temuco make this a favorite of businessmen and company salesmen from Santiago. They offer two full conference rooms with all the supporting facilities, wireless Internet, overhead projector and catering services for groups of around 50 people in the main conference room, and 30 in the smaller conference room.

This regular stream of clients with corporate accounts has gone a long way to making the Aitué into a high quality hotel, and also making it possible for the tourist to get some great deals. They are an especially good choice on the weekends when other hotels tend to be fully occupied, and the Aitué offers discounts over the regular rates.

The rooms at Hotel Aitué
All the rooms at Hotel Aitué are large and comfortable. The decorations, chairs, and covers all have a very nice warm color coordinated theme throughout each room. They offer special family rooms with single beds for the kids and a king size bed for mom and dad. For both families and groups traveling together they have rooms with connected doors. Some of the better rooms are the large junior suites.

One thing that you find with hotels located in an urban area, even among the finest hotels in the World, is that they are unable to control the noise from the street. All the rooms at the Hotel Aitué are orientated away from the busy main street, and are located more towards the center of the city block. The thing that grabbed our attention was how peaceful and quiet the rooms were for the Hotel Aitué being situated in downtown Temuco.

| There are a total of 35 rooms at the Hotel Aitué. All rooms come with a large full size private bathroom, satellite TV, security box, hairdryer, phone, central heating, and WIFI Internet. Of course it is not a real hotel room without a fully stocked minibar. Every room includes one at the Aitué. If you don't find it in the minibar, there is also room service available by calling the front desk. |

| Your breakfast is included at the Hotel Aitué, and is served at the dinning area on the second floor. Among other things, breakfast includes yogurt, local seasonal fruit juice, bread and toast, cheese, coffee, and tea.

Hotel Aitué Service
Outside the rooms, you will find a full bar and café located in the main lobby. The bar serves both typical Chilean national drinks and many international standards. For those traveling without a laptop there is also a small phone booth like room located near the front desk with a full size desktop computer for clients to check email and do some fast surfing. Daily newspapers are available in the lobby, or by ringing the front desk. Laundry service is also available by request.

The service extends past the door. Directly next door is a rent a car agency. They have an agreement for discounts for clients staying at Hotel Aitué. Hotel Aitué also has agreements with many local restaurants. Please ask at the front desk and they can arrange to have your meals and drinks around Temuco billed to your hotel room. Transfer to and from the Temuco airport is also available.

One of the more difficult things to find when driving around southern Chile is a place to park your car at night, and still have a quality hotel room at a good price. Hotel Aitué has a secure parking garage under the hotel. |
| To make it just a bit more enticing, Hotel Aitué is authorized by the government of Chile to offer IVA tax exemptions to foreigners with residency or domicile outside of Chile. They may pay with US Dollars, in either cash or major credit card. The only document needed for this discount is your passport.
